The Mayor of Sedgefield Cllr Dave Jasper and Consort Annette Lawson had a fantastic time on Monday and Tuesday this week, visiting our local primary schools to judge their Christmas Craft Activity!

Set by the council every year as part of our Snow Party event, Sedgefield Primary School and Hardwick Primary School pupils undertake a creative, festive challenge in the hopes of winning a small prize from the Mayor. This year’s task was to create a Christmas-y house to go on the Mayor’s tree at St Edmund’s Church Christmas Tree Festival.

The children did and incredible job and always it was a very difficult choice but the Mayor was delighted to award a selection box to the following winners:

Sedgefield Primary School Y1: Leo

Sedgefield Primary School Y2: Amber

Hardwick Primary Y2: Aaron

Hardwick Primary Y3: Lorie
