Sedgefield Town Council is aware of an on-line consultation being ran by Arriva in relation to the X12 bus service which currently runs half hourly through Sedgefield, between Durham and Stockton/ Middlesbrough.
This consultation proposes a new routing via Fishburn, giving Fishburn residents a direct link to Durham and Stockton/Middlesbrough. The consultation also proposes the removal of the current Teesside Park stop from this service.
It is important that current service users and residents in the Sedgefield area are aware of the specifics of the proposal so they can comment on any impact on their ability to access work and leisure at Teesside Park. If this stop was removed, the nearest stop to Teesside Park appears to be at Tees Barrage.
