As you may be aware, the town council has been working for some time on the project of expanding Butterwick Road Cemetery. Now that all necessary land has been purchased, a planning application has been submitted to Durham County Council.

Once the outcome of that planning application is known, we will be able to provide more details about the next steps in this project.
